Tools Keyboard Shortcut Behavior in Viewer
Hi All,
I might be just missing something obvious here, but I'm having some strange behavior when using hotkeys/keyboard shortcuts to select the various tools.
First, I'm working with two monitors - 27" viewer and 15" MBP browser. When I have the viewer in focus (i.e., I'm using it's tool panel, I've used the white balance dropper on the viewer image, etc.) I can't change my selected tool via keyboard shortcut. Instead, I have to click on the browser window and press the shortcut again, or click on the tool's icon (heaven forbid!)
Is this a bug, or am I missing something?
v8.3.4, OS X 10.11, Mid-2014 15" MBP.
Thanks!

That happens to me a lot also with various keyboard shortcuts (typically, the 'v' key). The "fix" is to exit Capture One and reopen it, and then things will run fine for a while. I have two NEC PA272 monitors; one for the browser and one for the viewer, and there are a lot of display bugs associated with dual monitors. I'm not sure if this is another dual monitor bug or just a Capture One bug.

Looks like other C1 bug, for me shortcuts are not alway when using viewer on 2 display. C1 main screen in focus. I.e C1 assumes that you alway work in main window, and just use viewer to confirm something, that`s why looks like it is not responding to keyword shortcuts.
Definetely open a support case with C1.0 -
I'm on single display usually. But maybe it's helpful nevertheless.
If I change a tool value by typing and proceed to the next field using <tab> or <shift> + <tab>, or if I activate an input field (cursor blinking), keyboard shortcuts do no longer work. I think this is because CO is in some 'keyboard input' mode. But when I hit <enter>, shortcuts work fine
I can just hit <enter> after using (<shift> +) <tab>, choose a tool icon, or click into the active image in the image browser bar to make it work again.
Is the behavior you observe somewhat similar? Then, does hitting <enter> bring the keyboard shortcuts back?
