Auto adding subfolders to a catalogue
I ingest files into dated folders using Photo Mechanic. Files go into a Top level folder for Year, which contains sub level folders based on date. I then catalogue them in C1.
However, as far as I can make out, any new files added to an existing folder are catalogued by C1 using the auto sync option, but I need to manually add every new sub folder to the C1 catalogue before its catalogued, which is a bit of a pain.
I had hoped that auto syncing at the top level folder would have added any new sub folders, under that "known to C1" top level folder already in the C1 catalogue, but it just updates existing "known to C1" folders.
Am I missing an obvious way of auto-adding, or semi-auto adding, new subfolders into a catalogue.
Thanks,
Graham

Same problem for me ! 0 -
It is correct the the Synchronize feature can add subsequently added images, even in subfolders, but not subfolder that have not been added to the catalog before. That feature makes for a nice feature request (encouragement to contact support for it). 0 -

Yes, I will raise it as a feature request with support.
