Find Duplicate Items

I received unprocessed files with camera naming convention. A few weeks later I received the same files only they were renamed, a shift in the brightness of all shots and some were edited out! I've loaded both batches into Media Pro selected all and then Find > Duplicate Items.

Why doesn't it find the dupes. They have the same shot times. please help

  It doesn't it only find files with the same file name.

  Modified files are from the same source but they are not duplicated.
  Try the command Show similare.
