How to delete multiple files?

Assume 10 thumbs are selected, if I right-click on one and select "Delete", only 1 file is deleted. Can't all I delete all 10 files with one click?

  Yes, hold the Option key while you delete.
  
  Deleting and apply star rating are the two exception (to my knowledge) of the Shift-modifier for acting on a selection of images: use the Option key instead. This exception is Mac only. I presented this inconsistency to Phase One in a support cases. The reply was that the interface will be tweaked, so don't be surprised if this changes (or not).

  Thanks Paul. Did you figure this out by trial and error?
  
  Speaking of the stars/rating. With the mouse the max is 4 stars, with a keyboard it's 5 stars. Odd... C1 V4.01 is still crash happy under OS 10.4.11 on Pro Mac (quad 3.0). It generates crash logs when generating the thumbs. I'm hoping we see an update soon.

  Hi John, the Option key 'discovery' was maybe a trial and error attempt, or I just read it in the manual (p. 70).
  
  I noticed (and reported) a bug in star rating. If you set the rating in the viewer label bar, it lags one star behind in the browser label. If I set it in the browser label or by keyboard, all are consistent (including the viewer label). This is perhaps the same you experienced.
  
  If CO 4.x crashes repeatedly, you might try to (re)move the Capture One.col file in the Pictures/Capture One Library folder. This file, which stores last opened folder, albums etc., can become corrupt. It is recreated with the next start of CO4.
