Missing images in favorites

Dear all experts

First of all, I am very new to Capture One and have not really used the software that much. I have imported a lot of images into a session from my vacation. The images all get into a "Session favorites" folder for each import.

For some reason (maybe me messing around) some images were accidently deleted. I moved the deleted images from the trash into the subdirectory of the capture folder (inside the session directory). However, the images are still missing from the favorites folder in the "Session favorites".

I moved the images using the Capture One file browser.

Is this the correct behavior of the software?

  The Capture Folder is not the originating folder of your deleted images. The session favorites are linked to the original destination, most probably a folder inside your main session folder.
