Adjustments Clipboard missing

I'm using CO v 4.8.2 under Vista 64 bit with dual monitors and had just gotten all the tabs onto the secondary monitor except for the Adjustment Tab. (It and the Library tab seemed to be the only ones I couldn't move from the main monitor.) I unwittingly clicked on the "Close Tool" triangle for the Adjustment tab to see if I could get the main image window to occupy more space, and now I can't seem to be able to recall the adjustment tab or adjustment clipboard.

I have tried to get it back via the little icon for the adjustment tab and via the menu:
View>Tool Tabs>Adjustment tab.

I submitted a support case over 24 hrs ago with no word yet. Anyone here know how to get it back?

  Either right-click in the tool's free space and add the tool from the list or restore your workspace from the Window menu.
