Viewer problems
I can't get the viewer to show a full image. The image has the bottom 25% cut off.
I have reset everything I can think of and still no dice.
Also, local adjustments brush tool... what no keyboard shortcut for changing the brush size??
Windows 7 64-bit

After re-naming my file I also can see the file names at the base since it is cut off….. So alter renaming the files there are no way to see the file names…. This is really frustrating! 😕 0 -
I am having the same problem as others report--20% or so cut off at the bottom and a bit cut off on the right. In addition, when I try to go to full screen view, the program shows a blank screen and closes down. I am running windows xp 32 bit sp3 on a 30 inch NEC monitor. 0 -
Gerry,
The system requirements for the system need you to set the Display to a 96DPI rule. Please set the display preferences to "Smaller" in the System Preferences of your machine.
Kind Regards,
Phase One Support
Thank you
That worked! See below! I Love Capture 6!

This is what I suggested, but it isn't a solution to the problem, only a workaround ☹️0 -

Yes true, but in a way the software designers were right in assuming that the target machines would be set up properly. If you have a 15.6" diagonal 1366x768 pixle display then that is just over a 100dpi and it should be set as 96dpi not 72dpi if everything (including all the Windows bits) are to display properly, the downside of this is that everything will look small and you will have to peer closer to see it 😡 . I have never had a problem reading the 15.6" 1280x800 pixle display on my laptop when set to the default 100% where CO6 displays correctly. However I have never found the small screen on my laptop, compared to a large monitor at home, very satisfactory for other than a cusory glance at pictures anyway ☹️ .0 -
With my aging eyeballs and a 26 inch screen, using the smallest font size just DOES NOT WORK for me. 🙄

Well said, also for me with a 15,6" and 1920X1080, this is only BAD CODING0 -

Well you could say it is bad laptop design - the only reason for having that many pixles on a 15.6" display is to be able to view HD video at native resolution, for anything else it's overkill. For instance a top of the line LaCie 26" monitor only sports 1920x1200 pixles and when I have seen them in use (I can't really justify the cost involved in buying one one 😭 ) they seem more than adequate for even the closest detail work. That LaCie has 87 pixles per inch against the laptops 141, my question does a 15.6" laptop really need that many pixles? Of course Phase One should put this right and they say they will but it is only one of a number of bugs that seem to be present in this beta release 🤓 -I just paid for an upgrade to a beta release 🤭 . By the way I have no problem on my laptop with its 15.6" 1280x800 display set to 100%, even my 66 year old worn out short sighted eyes can read everything and Catpture One 6 displays properly. As I have said before, though, it is only good for a cusory glance at the pictures - nothing beats the acerage of a good large monitor 👿 .0 -
Changing the font size in Windows 7 does fix the viewer problem, however with my old eyes everything else is to small. ☹️ Was ready to upgrade but I'll hold off now. 0
