Keyboard Capture
Using a P25+ / H2 MacBookPro 10.5.8 C1 v5.0.2
I can capture to the keyboard with the command K keys but not the Enter or Return key. Do others have this issue?
Thanks, Stretch

Hi Stretch,
The enter key is assigned to "Set as compare variant" in the default keyboard shortcut set.
You can edit these if you want enter to Capture, in the CaptureOne > Edit keyboard shortcuts menu0 -
So I deleted the "Enter" key under "Set as compare variant" and added it to "Capture". Will not work. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. I assume the Keyboard shortcut that is visable is the active set. I see no way to select the set you want to have active. It used to be Enter or Return captured the camera in V3. I hope someone is working on a manual. 0 -

First duplicate one of the default sets and next change your duplicate. Both default sets can not be edited.0 -
That's exactly what I did, at least 3 times. 0 -
I am having the same problem. Working with OS 10.5.8 and Capture One 5.0.2.
I'v tried many times.0 -
Glad I'm not the only one. Now if we can just figure out a solution. 0 -

It worked here after first attempt. But beware, do you know to find the Enter key (no serious!)? Yes, it is right above the right-shift key, no it is not the key below right of the numeric keypad. You should use the 'real Enter key' both during editing the keyboard preferences and during your action (i.e. Capture command). The keypad-return key does not work in Mac for this purpose.

Ok, That worked. Weird that you can't use the "fake" Enter key. 1st I have heard of such a thing. Thanks Paul. 0 -

To be honest, I noticed this on a number of occasions with the Mac (MS Entourage comes to mind) in which the numeric keypad Enter key does not work at all or does not have the same function as the regular Enter key.0 -
I also want to edit the capture shortcut in C1 5.x but when I duplicate the 4.5 shortcut set, the Capture (⌘K) shortcut disappears. It works fine in C1 4.x.
Before I duplicate the shortcut set in 5.x, the ⌘K Capture shortcut is listed, but once I duplicate the set it disappears. When I re-select the standard 4.5 set from the drop down list, the ⌘K Capture shortcut is still missing. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?
Just for the record, I have tried this on various Macs (10.5.8 / 10.6.2) with the same result.

Nick, I have seen this same behavior but eventually succeeded after a few attempts (CO 5.0.2 Pro).0 -
With Mac keyboards there may be conflict using the Keypad "Enter" key. As there is no "Num Lock" key or feature to Mac Keyboards, depending on how your keyboard is set up there may be mapping issues. For the most part however, at default settings, the Number Pad "Enter" key should work as a shortcut.
If you are not using a OEM Mac Keyboard or you have made some custom adjustments to the mapping, this may explain the conflict.0
