images greater than 30,000 pixels wide blank!
Hi All
Can Capture One Pro display images greater than 30,000 pixels wide? I like to create panoramas, some of which exceed this dimension. I have tried jpg & tif and the image is not displayed. Found I can't import Large Document Format images.
Lightroom and the now defunct Aperture don't have this issue!
Any tips or feedback appreciated.
Cheers, Paul

From the Release note for V 9.1.1 -
"File support limitations:
Smallest supported file: Width and Height must both be larger than 16 px
Largest supported file: Width x Height must be smaller than 40000 x 20000 pixels or sum
thereof."
As I recall these have at some point in V9 releases expanded the range of file sizes recognised by C1.
Whilst discussing TIFF files this note may also be worth including here:
"Other file support
Tiff: Capture One 9.1 can support Tiff files with alpha channel or layers saved in the file (from
other apps like Adobe Photoshop) for viewing purposes only. Reprocessing the image will
ignore the alpha channel or layers."
HTH.
