Phase certification program
I currently use the P25/H1/XP Pro/CO 3.7.10 system. I am heading toward the IQ180/Mamiya 645/Win 7/CO 6.3.2 system. I have signed up for the Samy's camera trainig seminar but I am wondering if I have put the cart before the horse? What does "Capture One Pro 6 license included in program fee" mean? I do not own CO6 and have no experience with it yet. Is CO6 included in the price for the seminar? If not, I will want to buy CO6 way before the seminar. I will then want to be trained on exactly how to use CO6 rather than stumble through on my own. CO3 has been learned only after many years and thousands of jobs worth of personal "education" based on what does/does not work or look good. I do not have time, anymore, to teach myself CO6 before I "learn" what mistakes I have been making by taking the Samy's class in CO6. The Capture U manual ( I have) was written for Mac users and is really very hard to use by a PC/Win XP - Win 7 user.
Is there a professional-level class for CO6, from installation, settings, sharpenings, crops, hidden code and final processing for professional, highest-possible quality output?
Is there a totally complete Capture U manual written and illustrated for Win XP/7 PC users?
Is there a DVD instructional guide?
What does "Capture One Pro 6 license included in program fee" really mean?

Hi, it seems that you have made up your mind regarding your upgrading path (I am referring to this thread viewtopic.php?f=41&t=11535). Congrats. The IQ backs are incredible.
I can not comment on Samy's course: ask Sam.
If you do not have a DSLR (like Canon or Nikon) but are on Phase One backs only, I would not bother to much about CO Pro because CO DB (data back) is free and has the same features as Pro but without DSLR support.
I did a POCP (Phase One Certified Professional) training last week and based on that experience, I think such a training is covering most of your needs as described in your post. In particular the hands-on and field experience from the trainer is invaluable. This training includes a 1 year subscription of Capture-U and gives you access to a bulk of training material. It also includes a full CO Pro license.
Have you visited the Phase One channel on YouTube for instructional videos? They are a great source.
Edit: Samys is doing a POCP training next month.0
