Moving image from the catalog back to folders

Hello everyone
i made a hick up
I wanted to move all my images in to the catalog after making albums for all of them
then I was so clever to delete all the empty albums
now I would like to get them back out again, but that is not as easy as done.!!!
I know I can export the images but then my albums will no longer be any good when I remove them from the catalog
and yes I could make all the folders again and move album by album back in to the folders but that would take for ever

since Capture 1 and Aperture is both running on the SQL database is there any one out there that knows of an app where I can relocate the images like in aperture
or has anyone made a script that would do this

or is there no way but to create folders then move the files album by album ☹️ 400 + albums

  do you have backup of the catalog before your edits? (guess not, otherwise you wouldn't be asking…).
  
  However, I'm not getting what you did and what you wanted to achieve. "move all my images into the catalog": is that changing externally referenced image to be catalog-contained images? Or something else? Where you physically moving files outside of C1 or not? There are more unclear points in your description, and I don't want to spend time guessing what you meant and then give a completely useless reply.
  
  I know that C1 doesn't really excel in file-management utilities, but try to avoid moving files around outside of C1.

  No I don't have a backup that is my problem since it sometime ago I moved all the imaged inside the catalog
  so they are managed and not refrense !!
  but thanks you for the Excel tip then at least I can make all the folders and move them inside Capture one pro
