Import issues
I am switching over from Aperture. I have a referenced library on an external drive. It is based around my Project names in Aperture which have the structure of Year-Date | Title When I attempt to import all of the files into Capture One it tells me that directories can't contain an | symbol.
During the transition I was still hoping to use Aperture for a period of time. Any idea how to work around this?

The straight bar character is always tricky to use in file names. Aperture is a OS X only product. But CO8 is both Win and Mac and the product attempts to be cross-platform compatible. In Windows world, the | character is forbidden in file and folder names since it is reserved for a specific function.
You have to rename you folders (sic), at least that is what I can think of.0 -

Capture One must do things differently than Lightroom then. I don't have any issues in Lightroom.
I'll consider how to rename, but I'm really not for it at the moment. That's a lot of renaming with directories dating back to 1969.0 -
