Auto crop
Is there a way COP 10 can auto crop on capture while tethered? Went cross-eyed trying to search this. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

What do you want the Auto crop to do?

I would like to have the image appear as a square crop when it loads after capture. 0 -
I think you can save your square crop as a User Style, and then have Capture One apply that style on import. (I don't use tethering so I am not sure about that, but I know that you can get a style applied on import from say a memory card.)

Thanks Ian, I'll try that and see what happens. 0 -

So a square crop in the middle of the (presumably non-square) image based on the shortest side of the original oblong?

Yes, that's what I'm after. I tried Ian's suggestion to use styles but, that does not work. I'm assuming it's because I am using an unsupported camera. Does that sound logical? 😕 0 -

Have you tried Copy from Last during tethering? You can set this in the Next Capture Adjustments tool, Other.0 -
No, I'll try that next. Thanks for the suggestion Paul. 😄 0 -
Tried it and it doesn't work either. Any adjustments I make in the next capture adjustment don't work. ☹️ 0 -

If I understand you correctly that you are not able to prolongate any adjustment during tethering from one to the next shot, I recommend that you contact support. This is not how it supposed to work!0 -
That was going to be my next move. Thanks Paul. 0 -

What do you mean by "unsupported camera"?
Are you using a hot folder rather than C1 tethering?

Well, I put in a support case and they told me that going through a hot folder no adjustments can be made. Well, I tried. 0
