overwrite option

Hi Guys i am using c1 v10 since its First beta. For every beta I had a hope an very small yet really a timesaver was finally going to be implemented.
This is when exporting there is no option to get an option to overwrite. When designing an photo album i usually need to edit some images again to match to better together on an spread, so i edit a lot of images.
After editing in Capture One I need to export the image again and overwrite the old one to make the album software reload the (new) imag. With Lightroom there is an option to select "overwrite" of rename files. Still in the Finale Version of C1 V10 this simple option is not available 😞. isn't it easy to add this function to the software?? This will help me and a lot of other Wedding photographers a lot.

  First, this is a user to user forum - so if you really want to see this, submit it to Phase as a feature request via their support portal. It's likely they'll never see this post.
  
  That said, I doubt you'll see it.
  
  I'm not a developer on their team so i can't speak to their intent, but generally speaking, it's bad news to have image processing software automatically overwrite other images. The software has no way of knowing if the images it's overwriting are PSD files you've spent hours retouching, or if they're images you are using just as a placeholder.
  
  I don't think it's a question of whether it's a "simple" feature to add (and yes, you are underestimating what it would take to make that happen) so much as going against general best practices of data management. (just because Adobe does it, doesn't make it the best idea ha).
  
  I can see how it would be useful in this specific case you've described, but I wouldn't honestly hold my breath unless you get a thousand other people to submit the same feature as a request to the developers 😊

  This is actually something I too have been hoping for for a long time. And yes I posted a request.
  
  I think the question is not whether it is risky or not. It just needs to be an option. Lightroom has it for years and it's great: Use unique Name / Overwrite / Cancel
  
  As easy as that.

  let's hope finally something simple as this will help the workflow get more faster 😊
  There are another lot of things Lightroom is better in (shortcuts, cropping) but Overwrite is most annoying for now 😉
