Sharpening questions

I have a few images I exported out of C1 into PS and even without output sharpening in PS they seemed a little too much.

In Capture One the sharpening is set to a default amount of a 180. Do you guys use this sharpening? Is there basic range that is considered normal?

When I send my variant into PS it has an option to disable sharpening? I find this confusing. Is this referring to the sharpening I mentioned above?

Last in the presets of the sharpening section in C1. I just realized these existed. What is the difference between pre sharpening vs Soft Image sharpening?

  And yes, I would disable sharpening when going to edit in PS. You want to avoid bringing too much detail over that you may have to retouch (i.e. skin). As a last step after the edit is done, I always sharpen in PS with Nik Sharpener Pro. For any RAW files I directly export out of C1, yes I mostly use the presets for sharpening. You have to try and figure out what works best for you, depending on output size and medium. I often use Soft Image Sharpening 1 for a 2048px output size for web.
