Viewer Disappears in C1 9.3

Greetings All
When I reduce the viewer in C1 9.3 (macOS Sierra two monitors) by clicking on the minus symbol in the viewer window bar and then attempt to open it again, by selecting "Viewer" under window in the menu bar, its appears briefly then disappears.
The only way to get it to appear is to restart C1.
Then it does it again.
Any suggestions?

  I gave it a try and connected my 2nd monitor and loaded 'Large Viewer'. It's the same in El Cap.
  
  When I load my saved workspace, then 'Large Viewer' again, the viewer is back. That's not as it should be. Let's do a screen recording and a support case.

  Greetings Hans
  I tried to save the workspace but that didn't work.
  I went to default workspace it closed down the viewer, then I was able to open the viewer without restarting the application.
