    Carlo,

As this is intended to be a User to User forum you may not see anyone answer this question properly.

I would suggest you create a Support Case and explain the problem then let the Supporter direct your question to the right department within the Capture One team.

    HTH.

    Hallo,
I am a professional photographer using Capture one since years, beginning from the n°3 release and I appreciate it very much. I have just bought the upgrade to the CO9, single user, but only now i discovered that I will need the Mac OS 10.someting to use it. My Mac pro has a few years life, (but still works well in my office) and is impossible to upgrade it to the OS10 version.
What can I do so to use Capture one )?. I know, I should read better all the system requirements before purchasing it, but Can you suggest something to do in order not to lose the moneyI payed for it?.
Maybe in a few years I vill change my hardware, but it seems to be working quite well for now.
My I have my money back (I may do a regular invoice for that) and buy again the upgrade as soon I will be able to use it?
    With best regards

Carlo, if your mac does not accept 10.X it is a lot more than a few years old. That is a Mac that has been end of life by apple. Its is really old. That means that even if you had the possibility to install, your hardware would be tremendously slow. Technology moves fast and even though we think a couple of years, it is actually a lot more than that.

You must have Mac Pro 1,1 (2006)? Lion OS?
It can "unofficially" upgrade to 10.10/10.11 with proper graphic card and 64bit emulation. Not worth the hassle.

Phase One support can refund you by their choice.
