Do you think the location 'Hungury' might be a bad joke?

I think we need a 'report this post' button like most other forums have.

  We try to keep ahead of these SpamPosts / ForumGarbage every day... seems they are more frequent now days.
  The IP addresses are blocked permanently by Ulf.

  Blocking IPs does little good. There are bots that are run from infected machines that know how to join phpBB forums automatically and post without human intervention. As quickly as one IP is blocked another machine takes over. Not to mention that IPs are dynamic and the same machine could come back on a different IP.
  
  A captcha on the sign-up page for this forum would slow the bots down considerably. Also making sure an account can't post until the activation link in the welcome e-mail is acknowledged (but I think the bots know how to follow that link now, if they can pick up the e-mail).
  
  What it really comes down to: the war against spam is an arms race and the spammers are winning (by making it harder for normal people to use services without having to jump through hoops to prove they are not a machine).

  I agree with Christopher. The use of 'captcha' in the signup process and the deletion of spammer accounts should be the best solution.
