How to make layer with different color than main picture?
Hi,
is there a way I can get the background in black and white, but keep the color of the flame and tree on the picture on the link below? I have just purchased Version.6 Pro. I have tried to make a layer of the tree, but when adjusting color it applies to both main layer and layer 1?

Yes, use the Color Editor, Saturation, set to -100.[quote="NN14586" wrote:

You should draw what you want to change, that is the part in your image surrounding the tree, in your layer and apply the correction mentioned above.0 -

Thanks. But I can't adjust saturation in color editor. Saturation is greyed out, when I have layer active. Only when I have background active, saturation can be adjusted. ?0 -
You have to use the advanced color editor and use the plucker of which color you want to edit, then you can edit the color. 0 -

Ok, looks like that might work. I'll try it out. Thank you!0
