media Pro 1.5 and Windows 10
according the Media Pro 1.5 Release Notes (in the download area) no WIndows 10 is supported.
I doubt if I can installed the MP1.5 because I also have to de-install my MP1.4xxx
I had some trouble when I upgraded from Iview to MP1.4xxx with the files and metadata. I don't want to have this again.
Does anyone have expience with WIN10 and MO1.5?
Thanks,
Martin

I do.
The credentials are not saved on windows, if you want to work, you'll have to re enter the serial number, mail, name, country etc. each time you'll open Media Pro 1.5...and keep it open all day long.
But the programm works as usual, you can save, import, tag..etc.
Currently I did not have any answer to my support tickect (posted on september 28th). All I see is that I have an activation history growing, growing..each day. Obviously a bug.
EDIT
Fixed by Running the program in win7 (or8) compatibility mode..and then returning to normal mode (disabling the compatibility mode).
Result: the program is working on Windows 10.0 -
In my experience, Media Pro is only compatible with Windows 10 in an upgrade scenario (when upgrading Windows in place). In the situation where you have a clean Windows 10 install, I cannot get CR2 files to export at full resolution. It appears to be a codec issue. Quicktime is not compatible with Windows 10 and Microsoft's CR2 codec isn't either. It looks as though without a codec Media Pro can't export CR2 files except at preview resolutions.
My support case with Media Pro indicated that they haven't decided if they are going to support Windows 10 so this product appears to be dead from a future development perspective. My last resort is going to be to try FastPictureViewer's codec which indicates Windows 10 compatibility. I'm going to send them an email to see if they feel their product would solve my problem.0 -
I emailed Phase One about Media Pro and Windows 10 and asked if they planned to continue Media Pro. I identified myself as someone who was interested in purchasing, and was actively looking for a management software to replace Lightroom, as I will not participate in Adobe's pricing scheme.
I received the following reply:
The policy of Phase One is that we do not comment on future releases, but we can asure you that we keep investing in professional photo management and image editing software.
With that said, we are very glad to know that you are interested in Media Pro – thank you for letting us know.
I don't know whether to be encouraged or not. I suppose I will wait to purchase until I see if Windows 10 is supported.0
