Does the iPod mount on the desktop? If so, can you manually drag the RAW files to a new folder on your PowerBook hard drive, and then add that folder as either a new session or as a favourite in Capture One.

Well, it never had before, but when I disconnected it and reconnected it it worked. Thanks for your help.

Are the P25 files compatible with any photo vaults such as the the Epson P-2000, Jobo GigaVu Pro, Archos AV420, or even the IPod? Sure, you could download the photos to these devices but you can't view them. I hope that PO are working with these companies to make their files compatible for viewing on their devices.

I have an Epson P2000 and am able to download RAW files and see them as well. Unlike Jpeg's, however, I cannot enlarge them on the P2000.

I was told that one could upload P25's raw files to the P2000, but not view them. Thanks for your clarification.

How big/small are the P25-file previews?

The P25 files has a .tif extension and a embedded TIF preview to the RAW file. This is what makes it possible to see an icon preview of the file in the Finder on a mac or in a portable device like for example the iPod Photo which I have been verified to be working.
