Editing date/time metadata
How can I correct the date/time of the image capture using C1?

You can't do that in Capture One at this point 😭 this feature will hopefully be implemented in a future release. 0 -
C1 does not alters ANY data stored in RAW files, so it is not possible and sure if will be changed later, as one of C1 aspects of software is treating RAW file as readonly data. 0 -
I use Photo Mechanic.
It aint free, but its very powerful for sorting, culling, key-wording, Etc
Its perfect first step in a workflow, especially if you are dealing with a lot of photos.0 -
Another easier to use tool that I use is 'A better finder attributes' that can be found here : http://www.publicspace.net/ABetterFinderAttributes/
I just downloaded Photo Date Changer from the Mac App Store but I doesn't seem to affect the timestamp that C1 reads… After editing the timestamp of an image 'Photo Date Changer' reports that the EXIF time has been adjusted, and if I import the image into Photos for OS X it shows the adjusted timestamp, but importing the same image into C1 shows no change. I have forced an update of the metadata in C1 by right-clicking and selecting 'Load Metadata'.
I also looked at the image in Picasa and noticed that it displays four date / timestamps from an image’s metadata:
1. Camera Date
2. Digitised Date
3. Modified Date
4. File Date

According to Picasa, the "Camera Date" is the only property which shows as having been changed by Photo Date Changer, but like C1, Picasa hasn't adjusted the order in which the photo appears in the album. It simply looks like ‘Photo Date Changer’ does not change what C1 and Picasa need for reading date timestamps. Argh!
Does ‘A Better Finder Attributes 5’ definitely work? I looks very similar to ‘Photo Date Changer’ and ‘File Date Changer 5’ which I’ve also tried.
Regardless, I will be submitting a feature request to C1 Support....0
