Duplicate Images in Catalog (Same Folder)
Long story short, I was having computer issues (multiple crashes) and had issues with my catalog. Ran several repairs on the catalog. Now I have a new computer and have everything moved over.
Somehow, through all the issues I had, I now have images duplicated in the same folder. Not virtual copies, the image are literally listed twice when you look in the browse window. Same filename, same image, exactly the same. The only difference is one copy doesn't appear to have any of the ITPC keywords.
Is there some way of finding and removing all of these duplicates from each folder other than manually going through and hitting <del> on each one?

Assuming that your images are not stored inside the catalog - so assuming that they are in physical folders on your file system...
(1) have you checked whether there really are two copies of the files on disc? Or is it that there are only single copies on disc, but two copies show in the catalog?
(2) You should be able to identify all the ones that don't have the IPTC keywords. So for instance I generally don't use the IPTC Description field. I can make a smart album for all the Images where the IPTC Description field is equal to [blank]. Select them all and choose Image>Delete From Disc...
BUT if you are in any doubt about whether that is selecting images that really need deleting, you could instead drag them off to a pending folder and then check.

Thanks Ian.
I have checked the actual folder and there is in fact only 1 copy of the image there. Yes, the images are stored on a file server, not in the catalog itself.

So after carefully backing up the file in question, you could try just deleting one of the "copies" (presumably the one without the IPTC keywords) from the catalog and see what happens on disc.
If that makes no difference to what's on disc, you could select all the ones that don't have the IPTC keywords in the way I have suggested, and delete them. (Perhaps just to the catalog trash. Then if you are sure that all is well you could empty the trash later.)
All after making sure you have a backup, of course.

Well, it look like only some of them don't have the keywords, darn it.
The one other thing that I see different is that the copies appear to have the icon that indicates adjustments have been made to them, however when I look at the adjustment clipboard they are empty.
Looks like I'll be manually going through them. I only have 200,000+ image in the catalog.. :-/
