Slow Previews / rendering
Hi. How on earth can anyone edit in this application? I have a folder of 250 images taken on a p45+. going through them to have a quick look & make decisions is impossible as each time you move forwards, or backwards, the preview is fuzzy/out of focus before settling down & becoming in focus. This doesn't happen in Adobe bridge & makes trying to use C1 impossible. Naturally the same thing happens everytime you make any adjustments to an image as well. Oh! The same rules apply to nikon d2x files so it doesn't seem to make any difference whether the RAW is 39 meg or 19meg. Am I doing something wrong or, is this normal?

wow, you too? I have had the same gripe about this software since day one, it is slowwww. I spend more time waiting for my cursor to catch up, images to render, adjustments to stick, sliders to move, etc than I care to say. I get the beach ball a lot for a second or two. Its just not fast and smooth. Its a shame too , because the results from this program absolutley blow away anything else Ive used. Its just slow as hell, and very frustrating 0 -
Jumping from one end of a folder of a couple hundred images to another while CO is first rendering previews sometimes produces a short delay, but typically the display of fully rendered previews is near instantaneous for me and my setup's nothing special. Sounds like something else is going on. You could check with a fresh user account to see if anything changes.
