Can I create irregular silhouettes in C1?
I'm using C1 and Windows 7.
I very recently came upon this site: http://kendallportraits.com/alter-ego-p ... to-studio/. The lighting is really exquisite. I'm sure part of the technique is the use of light modifiers in the studio. But I think that there is post-production work on the computer, especially creating the black/dark backgrounds in many of the photos.
Is there a way to draw/manipulate vignetting in C1 to create irregular effects in the image?
Any comments or suggestions are very welcome.

You can paint in a mask in a local adjustment layer, and reduce the exposure just for the bit you have pinted in.

I tried that, but I could not figure any way to feather the mask to follow the irregular pattern. A gradient only seems to run in one direction. 0 -
You can turn the hardness of the brush right down, which feathers it pretty well.
