Re-connect files after drive letter change?
Hi,
I imported a lot of files in a catalogue and worked on them on a portable hard drive on a borrowed laptop.
I now work on my own laptop I just bought and the hard disk is assigned a different letter and all of my files are offline.
I know that in windows, I can change the drive letter the drive gets assigned, but don't want to do that because I normally assign a certain drive letter on my desktop and want it to be consistent.
I found the option to reconnect individual files, but is there also a way to bulk-reconnect all the files from their new location?
TIA

As no one replied, does this mean it's not possible? 0 -

Mike,
This is primarily a user to user forum so you may or may not get a response from people who happen to be passing through.
I can't really help as I use sessions not catalogues.
The best thing to do would probably be to create a Support Case and ask for the Support Team's guidance as that would reflect the known functionality of whichever release you are using.
HTH.

You shouldn't need to reconnect files, but the parent folders holding those files.
Unfortunately, C1 does not do recursion AT ALL. So for Syncronize, and Locate, you'd need to find each directory. What happens when using the Locate in the context menu?0
