Phase One ver9 - congratulations - blazing fast
Hi,
I am working with C1 since decades, so now I want to congratulate the team to this great update!
Capture 8 was a big step upward from the older versions in handling and picture quality, but has been getting too slow to get into a flow, so I was in a hard thinking search for money to get a new machine very soon!
Now - I did some tests with my MBP early 2011, 16G RAM/ SSDs - Capture 9 is blazing fast!
I did different color corrections, masking with the wacom, the magnifying glass ...
...it´s a fun again to work with!
For I was reading of trouble in memory, I don´t have any, C1v9 uses between 5 to 6,6 Gig, my catalog holds 22k pictures.
Thanks!
Achim

How is your OpenCL setting Achim, as I have a problem with lagging if I use brush while the OpenCL set to Auto0 -
Agreed, super happy about version 9!
Superfast on my macbook 😊

Hi " fatihayoglu",
it is set to "Auto"!
The MBP uses the AMD Radeon HD 6750M,
the monitor is a NEC LCD2690WUXi, running at 1920 x 1200 32-bit.
regards
Achim0
