Tethering Nikon D800
Thanks for the beautiful update. Lots of great additions. However the synch is still having the same problem. El Capitain and 9 do not make teetering reliable. If I shut off the camera the only way to get it back up online is by removing the battery usually a couple of times. It is all documented in the last service report. Same exact thing that was happening with 8.3.4

Could we have some one there seriously take a look at this problem?
Thank you

Are you using Live View?
The release notes for 9 have something to say about it:Live View over USB can stall without the use of a repeater.

No I am not0 -
It is reccomended to use either repeater or USB powered hub, because by default USB ports of MAC does not provide a good amount of power to get reliable tethering. 0 -
Been using Capture one Pro for while. It's always been tough tethering. It felt like the camera tech and mac tech were always at odds fighting for USB3 power. Especially good if cable length is 3 meters Solid state mac and powered USB cable helps.
Last 5 years or so it's been solid probably due to elimination of physical stress on the camera USB ports and newer Capture One pro andMac os updates. very good connection for longer times.
