Session database could not be read, error: Error

The title is the error message I received tonight when I tried to open Capture One on my laptop. It runs windows XP SP-3 (32 bit). CO has worked fine previously. I uninstalled and reinstalled CO 6.2.1 Pro, but received the same error message. My next step is to restore my computer to a week or two ago when the software worked, but I'm hoping someone here has an easier solution.

  I got the same problem when I updated Capture One Express 64bit. Reinstalling and advised Capture One Library file deletion does not help. Currently I cannot process any raw files when C1 will not start.

  Besides the session file (a.k.a. library file) you could best also delete the preference file. See
