correcting a mistake ?

I had imported an Aperture Library into a new C1 Catalog, and have been on a learning curve ever since.
This time I deleted an image from a project in C1, or so I thought - Somehow the entire project vanished.
What would be the "correct" way to bring this project back to life.(where is it ?, not in the trash, not visible - so I guess missing from the Catalog Database, but no way to find out).
I already know that imported Aperture Libraries are referenced in C1 - So, the source images are still (thankfully) in the Original Aperture Library and unharmed.
My solution - I could Export this missing project as a Library from Aperture, and import it to the same C1 catalog,Getting my project back- but then I would end up with double the number of originals. All images from this Project in the original Aperture library, and the duplicates residing in the new Aperture Library I exported as a project.
Hopefully there is a better way. Any suggestions would be appreciated

My own followup - In case it helps anyone with a similar issue.
I came up with this solution and hope it is good and will not ruin anything. It sure is straight forward and I should have thought of it before I posted my topic, but I did not.
What I did was create a new project in my C1 catalog, located the missing images( I knew should be in that Project ) in the masters folder( masters from Aperture) selected them all in the browser window of C1 - and dragged them over into the new project Icon. Voila.0
