    Hi Stan,

There are several Auto Adjust functions in Capture One.

The big A on the toolbar is for autoadjust of several tools at once and it is configurable. Click on the small triangle below it, or go to Adjustments menu > Configure Auto Adjustments. Forget about Rotation and Keystone unless you have a Phase One IQ digital back. Make sure at least one of the other tools is selected.

The tools in the list also have their own Auto Adjust. Look for the small A in those tool's header.

yes..i see that but when you click on the big A or on the the little A in the individual tool..nothing happens at all..no changes are made..that is what i am referring to..thanks

in addition, i see now that the undo/redo is not working...again not sure if this is my error or a general issue for all?

    Stan,

If you go to the 'Window' drop down menu and open the Activities window and then run the Auto adjust do you see any activity identified? (It might be very brief visibility.)

If you do see an activity bar but nothing seems to change then pick and image or create a variant. Make some changes that are very obvious using one or more tools available for the Auto adjustment feature(s) and that you have marked as selected and then run the Auto Adjust again on that variant to check that the process appears to run according to the monitor and whether anything happens.

If nothing happens it would suggest the is something related to your system that is preventing Auto from working or working correctly. Just got to find it.

    HTH.

Do other adjustments work normally? I start to doubt whether your setup is OK or that you accidentally run in the wrong mode.

    1. when i do any manual adjustment it works fine.

    2. OK..I opened the activities window and when i hit auto adjust the window shows
AutoAdjusting and the activities bar comes to life and and it says about 0 seconds left..but the activities bar just keeps on staying active and keeps on reading Auto Adjusting- about 0 seconds left...that never goes away unless i X it our manually.

I am presently on my home machine and this is the behavior..I will be on my office machine soon and I will try it there as

Obviously not a general issue or the internet would be lit up by now 😊

Which of the 7 parameters are set to be adjusted in the "big A" toolbar icon?

That does not sound right to me.

Let's see what happens on your office machine and follow up from that result.

Well, that's sort of good news ...

Hopefully resolving the home machine problem will not be too time consuming.
