Converting old .work files to .c1w files

I have an archive of older files from a trip, and I have the original C1 .WORK files for the conversions. 3.7.6 doesn't seem to want to use them though. Is there a way to convert them over?

  From memory. I recall that the change from .work to .c1w files is from CO3.5.x onwards. And if I recall correctly, 3.5.x automatically converted those work files if found in the cache.
  
  So my workaround would be to download and install 3.5.2 and open your images once in that older version. Maybe someone else has additional memories that can help.
