Capture one 9 (sony) application

Capture one 9 (sony) application is missing after OS X update. What was left after the update is a question mark where the app sat on my Mac desktop. Any ideas how to get this back? How to avoid in future updates?

  (for Sony) is just a run mode within standard installer.
  
  Download and run the installer from here: https://www.phaseone.com/en/Download.aspx
  In some cases just installing again and launch can be enough to get you going if the machine remembers the previous activation.
  
  If not, when prompted in the activation window, activate the software again as the (For Sony) version.
