I have seen something similar in 8.3.0, black icons in full-screen view. It only was on 'inactive' icons, and I wasn't able to reproduce it. I guess, your undo / redo stack was empty (scrambled icons on the right) and no camera was attached (scrambled icon on the left) when taking that screenshot.
Does it occur when there are undo / redo actions available and a camera is attached? Can you reproduce it? I think it's worth to create a support case.

It is there right from the start of program, reproducable.
It's also on the right side of the menu bar on some icons, e.g copy/paste.
As soon as I copy some settings, the paste icon becomes visible.
Same with undo/redo.
On another machine with exactly same OS version and program version and exactly same graphics card and driver, icons are always fine.

Never installed any extensions.
I also completely deleted C1 and all setting files etc and reinstalled from scratch.

I am German, too. But I am running my computers in English. 😄
And my Danish isn't good enough to talk to PO anyway (but there is some). 😁
Let's stick to English, because readers and posters are international.
Can you tell us a little bit about your hardware?
And did you file a support case?
Regards,
Hans0 -
I admit it's a Hackintosh: 😕
Board is Gigabyte GA-Z97-HD3
Core i7-4790K
nVidia GTX 960 2GB, latest nVidia Driver.
The artefacts appeared after updating C1 to latest version, before everything was OK.
I did not (yet) file a support case, due to the not officially supported hardware.0 -
A Mac is just another computer. Otherwise it wouldn't run my openSUSE Linux. 😊
Your hardware looks pretty good to me.
Do you run CO with openCL enabled and, if yes, did you try to toggle openCL on/off with restart?
Are the icon files corrupt? You can find them with 'show package contents' in Finder.
/Applications/Capture\ One.app/Contents/Resources/toolbar_<something>.tiff
<something> would be like 'undo', 'redo', 'capture', ...

Today I found the reason for these artefacts, so I'm posting the solution, although the thread started some time ago.
Maybe this helps somebody else sometime in the future so Google will.
As I had said, I'm on a Hackintosh, and the reason for these strange behavior was that I had the on-board Intel graphics enabled in the BIOS, but was using a specific graphics-card nVidia 960.
Disabling the onboard video in the BIOS setup solved the problem.0
