An odd question.. location of preview files

I had an unfortunate incident, my hard drive crashed and I did not have everything backed up.

While I have finally gotten over this, I noticed that my capture one has the preview shots still available, and able to be worked on.

I was wondering if anyone happens to know where these preview shots are saved, and if I can somehow retrieve the images being used as previews so I can at least have these small images as memories.. even though I can't use them.

An unusual question, I know!

Any help would be appreciated.

  If session, in a sub folder to the parent image files.
  If catalog, inside the catalog object.
