.orf (Olympus Raw Format) files from an Olympus C-7000

Hi,

I am looking to work with .orf (Olympus Raw Format) files from an Olympus C-7000 (C-70 Euro/Apac). I see the that Capture One supports .orf files from various Olympus camera's. Therefore can I use .orf files from my C-70 in Capture One LE?

  The list of Olympus cameras we currently support is:
  E500, E1, E10, E20, E300, C7070, C8080.
  This is the cameras which is supported by Capture One.
  You can not read files from any other cameras even though they might share file format because every camera type is still unique.

  Hmmm very strange Ulf. I emailed a friend my Olympus C-7000 Zoom (called C-70 Zoom in Europe) .orf file before I got your reply. He said he was able to open it in Capture One LE. How is this possible? He said it even reports the camera name as C-7000/C-70Z in the exif data. I can email you the .orf file if you provide me you email address.

  I found your post and was wondering if you found a solution for this. I stupidly assumed Capture One would read most RAW files.

  Capture One is only compatible with the list of cameras that is listed in each version. There is several reasons to this but ever camera type is unique in each way and only compatiblity has to be implemented by Phase One for each camera.
