Nothing but trouble with 3.7.4

Hi!

All I can say: buggy.... ☹️

1. speed on MAC PowerPC: slower than 3.7.3!
2. feature in white balance tool: pipette is NOT reading colour values, it is frozen...
And does not show where you are on the picture in the cropping windows (the two little windows on the left hand side...

Major question: is this update merely for IntelMacs and not G4?
I have left a 3.7.3 folder next to the 3.7.4 folder. Could that be the problem?
