If you have the crop tool active, and click outside your crop, Capture One helpfully (?) thinks you are trying to start a new crop.

You could right-click inside the cropped area. A little context menu pops up and it includes an undo button which will reset the crop.

Thanks Ian. I tried it and it works. On my Mac mouse I have to do Control/Click, same as right click in other setups I guess.
fwiw a quick left click outside the crop area often deletes the crop entirely, quick and easy. Other times it makes the entire image go gray--not sure what differing conditions might account for the different behavior. I guess it doesn't matter now that I know to quickly "right click and hit Reset Arrow"...so thanks for the tip!

The difference in behaviour between clicking outside the crop sometimes clearing it and sometimes making the whole image go grey is probably due to movement of the mouse. If you manage to do a clean click it clears it. If you move a bit during the click it may respond as if you had dragged out a very small crop area.

You can also shift+click anywhere in the crop "shield" to reset the crop.

This works for me using a mouse, but I have yet to be able to make this work using my Wacom tablet.

Is anyone using a tablet/stylus able to accomplish this?
