5D Markiii files not loading into Capture One
I have downloaded the newest Capture One, 7.0.2. I have Mac OS X 10.8.2 and shoot with the 5D Markiii.
My files are not coming into the program. Capture One shows that my camera is connected and then I take a picture; the file sits in Pending mode and never transfers to the computer. I have no idea why.
I did get it to work yesterday morning. I did nothing to change settings set up by the program and then used the program in the afternoon and it will not work. The lack of consistency is very annoying.
I am shooting RAW with no card in the camera, of course. Is there a catch to getting the program jumpstarted? I have been using Cap One since it's infancy and I know the little tricks from the older system but not now. . .

I had problems on the capture computer when v6 and v7 were both installed. Also make sure you're using a single USB cable to tether and no extenders and don't plug anything else into the USB ports (hard drives, etc). 0 -
In addition to the previous post, try a powered USB hub.
I have the impression that the 5D mkIII is more power-sensitive than previous models and newer Macs deliver less power, hence the powered hub or powered repeater cable.0
