"refreshing" a catalog
Hello all,
First, congratulations to C1 team for such an achievement. As an early user of C1, I'm happy to come back with this very promising release.
My question is : when an image has been erased outside from C1, is there a way to rescan the catalog to "refresh" the image list ? Missing images are signaled by a question mark, but I see no option to update an existing catalog. I know, all manipulations should be done within the catalog, but...
Thanks in advance
John

Just to bump your post, I would like to know this as well. 0 -
Not as such.
We would like to notify you through the catalog that an image has been deleted or moved outside of Capture One. As such we show the "?". There is no Auto Rescan feature as we do not want the files to be removed unwittingly and then go unnoticed until it's too late.0 -
What happen with added metadata with other applications? Are there any way to refresh the catalog to see the updated metadata? I tried to import all the photos again but the metadata remain with the old captions. For my job as photojournalism at a newspaper I need to use an external app to put metadata, my problem is that the catalog of C1 is impossible to actualize. 0
