How to integrate Media Pro with Capture One?

I'm trying out Media Pro and found a video on YouTube from PhaseOne on integrating Media Pro with Capture One but it's very out of date (2011).

Can you point me to a helpful page which shows/tells me how to integrate the two applications so they talk to each other?

    The method is still the same as outlined in that video. But, you need to be aware that MP can only successfully integrate with CO until CO version 8.1.1 (it's in the release notes somewhere).

    Thank you for responding to my query, it's very much appreciated.

    That's very odd, only up till Capture One 8.1.1 ?

    The other problem I'm having is that when I 'right click' on an image in Media Pro and select Open With > Capture One I'm met with a warning box in Capture One stating "Opening a Media Pro document in a Catalogue is not supported, try with a session"

    When I choose to open the RAW file in Capture One the application is closed and not already in a catalogue, although that is the way my file system is organised.

    I would love to be able to use Media Pro instead of Lghtroom 5 as Windows 10 is causing me all sorts of problems with LR5 but it would appear that PhaseOne want me to pay 140 Euros for an application that doesn't (in my ignorent opinion anyway) integrate with Capture One.

    Or am I (as ususal) talking utter rubbish?

    only in Session Mode you can synchronize bowthe MP and C1 and with limited use 💡
    sending Metadate from Mp ---> to C1 manually
    sending Metadate C1---> to MP automatic ❓ or manually
    showing your works or image changes in Mp : dont works and........etc.
    mybee in Version 9 or 2 somthing happens !
    be aware that authors Vendors do not synchronize also with C1 , the Problem is Capture one 😡

    I think you should stop spreading nonsense on these forums. There are other users trying to get information from fellow users.

    What you state is caused by your not wanting to follow the prescription on how to integrate, many threads about that.

    The integration works, but only until CO8.1.1. I have no clue why Phase One decided that. It only ever worked in session mode in CO (to the OP: if you're getting an error, please make sure to close CO with only one session open. That will be opened again when you "send" images from MP to CO).

    The showing of image changes also works (or better: should work). But again, until CO8.1.1. If it isn't working, raise a support case. That is the only way to get this fixed. Frightening other users isn't.

    Other DAM vendors do synchronise with CO, but i leave it up to you to find out which ones (hint: search some of my earlier replies to your own posts).

    Well, that's the point i'm trying to make. Phase One doesn't support integration between MP and CO beyond CO8.1.1, whether you or i like it or not. There is no use to keep complaining about it, much less to attack me or others on the forum about it. After all, i, we, are not Phase One.

    Any issue you have, or feature request, or other sort of problem like complaint, you need to address to Phase One in a support ticket, whether you like that or not.

    What i am trying to establish here for the OP and any other user interested, is the fact that if you follow the rules for integration, it does actually work.

    Also, i'm no longer going to go into your complaints, i have already responded to which other solutions there are, actually in one of your own posts.

    I actually just found another tool that does integration with CO, but this time with aperture. It's called APhub (http://www.aphub.de/) and does integrate aperture with CO. Also, with CO in session mode.

    Good luck with your endeavour to get CO to talk to MP outside of the rules.
