I really wish Noise Reduction is defaulted to 0. Jesus!

Yes, I know I can change it. But, now each image has be applied with the change.

NOISE REDUCTION SHOULD NOT EVER BE AUTOMATICALLY APPLIED...EVER!!!!

  I created a "user style" for that, lens correction and CA correction that I can just apply on import

  Well, from my experience with C1 since V4 beta the default amounts of noise reduction which vary according to the camera and the selected ISO setting generally have provided me results which only in few special cases required some tweaking.
  
  It's possible of course that I may be much less demanding tahn your standards. But at least my stock agencies seem pretty fine with my supplies.
  
  Edit: What Canon Shoe mentioned is the way to go when you want a default treatment on import different to C1-default

  You can set all default settings with a style. At the time of importation remember to select the desired style.
  
  To create a style, use the "plus" button on the Adjustments Tool Tab. :

  My understanding is that tuned adjustments for "noise" are basically there to set a neutral value that simply eliminates the adverse characteristics of all digital sensors. In the days of film you got grain. With digital you get noise. You can do something about noise.
  
  If you don;t like it you can set a different default value on a per camera basis.
  
  I rather suspect that the vast majority of users would disagree with your last sentence given the approach that Phase take to managing noise.
