Windows 2000 support?

I read the FAQ off the webpage (via searching google) and saw that windows 2000 was still supported, but I can not get the software to install- something about dotNet 3.0 being required (which is XP+).

Any workarounds on this? Going to be a rough time if I have to upgrade to windows XP ... I'm holding out until they fix Vista 😉

  I just looked it up at the Microsoft download site which confirms that MS .NET Framework 3.0 component requires XP SP2 or later, no Windows 2000. The previous .NET Framework 2.0 runs on Win2000 and later.
  Since CO4 needs .NET Fx 3.0, you looks that you better upgrade now to XP and last as long before you are forced to go to Vista.
  
  Maybe Phase One support has a workaround.

  Are these forums the appropriate way of contacting them? This upgrade to the 40D, while an incredible camera, is killing me in terms of others.... the XP upgrade alone is another 140$, or equal to a 3rd backup 12gb Extreme III flash card 😉

  Officially this is a user to user forum, the best way to raise issues like this with Phase One is to create a support case.
