Anyone successfully using a two monitor setup?
Hi Forum Browsers,
I am trying to configure my workstation, which consists of a 17inch Mac laptop coupled with a nec spectraview monitor to work as the original C1Pro used too in dual screen mode.
What I would ideally like, is to have the laptop screen set to view purely the thumbnails and the Nec monitor to view the enlarged selected image (correctly rendered).
To be fair I have managed to figure out some kind of work around but I find that I cannot get the whole of the laptop screen to view just the thumbs! For some reason C1 wants to give me a duplicate of whatever I select and view on the second monitor (NEC) at the top of the laptop screen!
Also my main gripe with using the attached monitor is that any preview that is selected will not render itself in full detail, it only generates a fully focused image after zooming in several times? So when I have applied any level of sharpening the thumbnail and preview look awful, unless I zoom in several times..
Any thoughts, or others experiencing the same issues?
Nick

Four steps to set up your workspace for a dual monitor setup.
1. update to current version of CO4 Pro (4.8.2 is current); start CO4 Pro
3. in Window menu, choose Viewer or Workspace -> Two Monitor
4. in View menu, hide Viewer
5. in Window menu, Workspace, Save as (provide name)0 -
I had seen those instructions and they never worked for me but I tried them again and it finally worked. I guess the key is that if you are already in two monitor mode like I was, it won't work unless you switch back to default monitor mode first and then go to two monitor.
Thanks,

Works fine, but one loose the exif info!
Any tip to have the exif anywhere else?0 -
