With operating systems and serious software infrastructure that rarely, if ever, happens.

Yes, true.. I suppose programs would be failing everywhere if this wasn't the case.

Since this issue has present in several W10 beta editions though, it might appear in the next build anyway. It would be nice if the C1 tech team would keep people updated on the issue.

While we will try-out operating system beta's from time to time, you will not find any official documentation on bugs found on these betas.
Only if they are found in the released version, fixes will be mentioned in the Release Notes for a given release of Capture One.

Issue is now fixed in either 9.1 or/and the new W10 build 14291. Not sure which..

    I installed C1 v9.1 on Insider build 14271. It's now working fine.
My guess would be that they fixed C1......

v9.1 also works fine with Insider build 14295

Regreatably Capture One version 8 produces the same error on Windows 10 insider build 14316. If Capture One version 9 has been fixed but version 8 hasn't then it appears that I have been locked out of software for which I have paid a full license fee and am entitled to continue using.
