going from CO6 to 7
Been seeing many posts about upgrading to CO7. Thinking of giving the new 7 a try. Has anyone gone from 6 to 7 and then back to 6 and able to see any adjustments made in 7 when opened back up in 6?
Running 1st gen intel pro machines, OS 10.6.8 desktops and laptops which seem like they are the min requirements.
Thanks

If you're working comfortably in v6, I STRONGLY suggest not upgrading to v7, at least not on a computer with files you rely on for actual production work. I upgraded one of my Macbook Pros to v7 and regretted it almost instantaneously. Serious bugs in just about every feature, from ratings, sorting, and renaming - activities used in just about EVERY capture session. Don't believe me? Others are expressing their frustrations with those similar problems in other threads on this forum.
To C1's credit, the images do look a lot better from a detail and highlight/shadow recovery perspective, but honestly, version 7 is flawed.
You can also forget about using the Catalog features if you have more than a few thousand images.0 -

There is a way for most of the adjustments to be shared:
