    You now have to use the select tool (V on the keyboard, or the arrow key on the toolbar) to move the guides - previously you could also use the pan (hand) tool.

    Hi,

    To move the guides, you can't use anymore the pan command ("hand" symbol), but the selector ("N-O arrow", just at the left of the pan command).
    To add guides, you must go to the main menu View -> customise guides.
    And you can also customise your toolbar, adding the icon "guides", which allows you to display or not the guides at your convenience.

    why are the guides no longer active when using the pan cursor? it worked. when will that be fixed?

    As noted above, this is a deliberate design change. You have to use the Select (arrow) cursor for this now.
