Removing X's activated by Composition Mode
I'm fiddling around with my layout and added the 'Composition Mode' to the toolbar that's to the right of the cursor toolbar up top. It placed two rows of three circled X's at the top and bottom of the image. I removed the 'Composition Mode' tool from the toolbar but the X's still remain.
How do I get rid of them?

Placing it in the toolbar can be a convenience but does not activate or deactivate the tool.
You should find it in the Camera menu as a default - it's intended mainly for tethered capture work though perhaps has wider applications.
Or you can just open the tool "floating" somewhere on screen and managing from there.
HTH.

Thanks. "Camera > Composition Mode" did the trick. Shows me for fiddling around with things I don't know about. 0 -
I should add to my comment above that when tethered, Composition mode is intended for taking test shots for set up purposes and as such has some specific attributes related to not storing multiple shots.
It's important to understand its purpose.
