no ability to update the changing Exif files

i can't update my changed Exif pictures in C1 8 and in Media Pro.
xxxxx.
i found pictures in my catalog having wrong captureTime, so i change it in Apple Apeture but they dont be updated in C1 or Media Pro ? i dont save my picturs inside the C1 Catalog !
is thear any solution for that .

  Did you reload the metadata for your images?

  The Reload Metadata command online workshop when metadata is written in the image file or in a sidecar XML file. The altered Exif in Apeture is recorded in the Aperture database.
