Copy all and delete or deactivate the ones you don't want.

I think you should be able to find several recent threads covering this area and there are a few tutorials and webinars with content about the same subject.

That said I suspect the copy option is really only advantageous is you are processing almost identical images and can use the layer just as it is.

If you will need to modify it in some way then recreating anew may be a faster option in most cases.

    HTH.

Thanks Grant. This has become my workaround - to copy all layers and delete the ones I don't want. Hopefully C1 will introduce this in future updates.

Logically this may not be so easy to define.

There are at least two component to a layer - the adjustment(s) and the mask.

Adjustments can be saved and reapplied via presets and styles and working that way is, in effect, little different to copying and pasting layers.

However the mask, unless you are simply applying the same adjustments to multiple versions of exactly or almost exactly, the same image, is unlikely to be entirely successfully shared across many images. It may be a lit easier and quicker to simply create new masks.

One exception to that in some situations might be the new Luma mask introduced with V12 - but then that can already be copied and applied effectively so why would there be any need to come up with some totally new selection option for something that can be done already?

Just some thoughts about what would attract my upgrade fee payments - or in this case what would not.
